Goal:
To guide users on how to properly remove a field from a form layout using Inistate Studio.
Description:
When designing or editing a form in Inistate Studio, you might need to remove certain fields that are no longer required. This guide applies to the Default Form Layout (create + edit + view) inside a module in Studio Mode.
Steps / Instructions:
- Navigate to Studio by clicking the magic wand
icon.
- Select the module you want to edit, then click on “Default (create + edit + view)” layout.
- In the form design layout, click on the field you want to remove.
- Click the “Remove” button.
- Confirm by clicking OK, then click SAVE.
- Finally, click RUN to apply your changes.
Tips / Notes:
- Be cautious when removing fields—any linked workflows or data dependencies may be affected.
- You can always re-add a removed field if needed from the same form design interface.
- Use Preview Mode to check your form before publishing changes.
